Fund-a-Farmer Grant Applications due December 4th 


Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) awards small grants up to $2,500 for pasture improvement and six types of certification, including American Grassfed Association “Certified Grassfed” and USDA Organic. Family farmers who raise pigs, broiler chickens, laying hens, dairy cows, beef cattle, turkeys, and/or sheep may be eligible to apply. 

Is your project designed to help you transition to a pasture-based system and/or improve your animals’ access to well-managed pasture?

APPLY FOR A PASTURE IMPROVEMENT GRANT.

Is your project designed to help you meet a specific certification standard and achieve certification from American Grassfed, Animal Welfare Approved, Certified Humane, Certified Naturally Grown, Global Animal Partnership (Levels 4-5) or USDA Organic?

APPLY FOR A CERTIFICATION GRANT.

Before you apply, please review the below eligibility requirements. Applications must be submitted online by 11:59pm CST on December 4, 2017. Grants will be awarded in January 2018.
