Department of Pesticide Regulation's new grant soliciation announcement coming September 6th

Greetings:

The Department of Pesticide Regulation's (DPR's) 2014/2015 Pest Management Research Grant solicitation will be distributed onSeptember 6, 2013.

DPR’s Research Grant Program will provide a total of $500,000 for research projects that explore integrated pest management (IPM) solutions to pesticide-related problems associated with agricultural field fumigants for soil pests. DPR will consider proposals requesting $50,000 to $300,000 for terms of up to three years.

DPR will hold two informational events: a webinar to explain the new online application submission process and a teleconference to answer questions about the application process and the grant program. Participation in the webinar and teleconference is voluntary.

Webinar: Thursday, September 12, 2013, at 10:00 AM. DPR will hold a webinar to explain the application submission process using the State Water Resources Control Board’s FAAST online grant application system. Prospective applicants will also be able to ask questions.
